Refund policy

Every Fourth Soil piece is printed or embroidered just for you when you order. Because of that, we don't accept returns for a change of mind, but we'll always make it right if something goes wrong, and we offer one free size exchange per order. Please check the Size & Fit guide on each product page before you order.

For anything below, email our returns team at the address listed in your order confirmation email, and include your order number.

One free size exchange

Ordered the wrong size? We'll exchange it once per order, free of charge for the new size.

Request your exchange within 30 days of delivery.
The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition.
We'll reply with return instructions and the address to send it to. Please don't mail anything back before we reply.
You cover the cost of shipping the original item back to us. We cover the new size and its shipping to you.
Exchanges are for a different size of the same item. Color and design changes, and items without a size (caps and beanies), aren't eligible.

Damaged, misprinted, defective, or wrong item

We'll make it right with a free replacement or a full refund. Email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a clear photo of the problem:

Print or damage issues: a well-lit photo of the affected area that also shows part of the design.
Wrong item: a photo of the item with the packing slip visible.
Wrong size received or measurements off: a photo of the size tag, or the item laid flat with a tape measure.

Package lost in transit

Contact us within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. We'll look into it with the carrier and send a free replacement if the shipping address was correct.

Wrong address or unclaimed package

If an order is returned because the address was incomplete or incorrect, or because it wasn't picked up, we'll reship it once you confirm your address, and you cover the reshipping cost. Returned orders not claimed within 30 days may be donated.

Good to know

Measurements can vary slightly from the size chart (under 1").
Garment-dyed pieces vary a little in color from piece to piece. That's part of their character.
A new print may have a faint smell or residue that goes away after the first wash.
